1997 Santo Domingo Music Festival

The first Santo Domingo Music Festival was presented from March 12 to 21, 1997, and from its beginning became the most important musical event in the Dominican Republic. Seven gala concerts were presented, three conducted by Maestro Entremont and one by maestro Julio de Windt, Principal Conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra with the participation of the Festival Orchestra formed by the National Symphony Orchestra and musicians from Europe and the United States.
