Fundación Sinfonía

SINFONIA Foundation is a non profit organization, created through the initiative of a group of music lovers with the purpose of collaborating with the consolidation and projection of the National Symphony Orchestra of the Dominican Republic. Its first president and founder was Pedro Rodríguez Villacañas.

The successful performance of Sinfonía Foundation has enriched the nation’s musical life, inviting world famous soloists, director and artists who alternate with the most distinguished national classical musicians and artists, a goal that reaches its peak every two years with the Santo Domingo Music Festival.
