Fundación Sinfonía

With the initial contribution of its founders and donations from private institutions, Sinfonía Foundation has accumulated an important endowment, which has allowed them to give permanence to its work in favour of the National Symphony Orchestra.

The foundation offers the members of the National Symphony Orchestra extraordinary gratifications during spring and summer vacations and Christmas and covers 50% of the purchase of spare parts for their musical instruments.

In addition, the foundation through its international relationship with other foundations, prestigious international contests and renowned orchestras, covers scholarships for the musicians abroad.

The symphonic seasons, traditional activity of the National Symphony Orchestra, are celebrated every year (spring and fall-winter season) and offer exquisite music programs. The foundation has been able to obtain the support of more than 500 subscribers and of prestigious enterprises and embassies, which make possible the contracting of renowned national as well as international soloists.

It also offers support to numerous institutions in the preparation of extraordinary concerts with the National Symphony Orchestra, including fundraising concerts for non profit organizations.
