The date for the eighth edition of the Santo Domingo Music Festival has been set for March 2, to 12, 2011. As is traditional there will be six concerts in the Main Hall of National Theater Eduardo Brito, with Maestro Philippe Entremont as Artistic Director.

Ken Broder, vocal of the Board of Directors of Sinfonia Foundation has been appointed as President of the Board of the National Trustees of the National Symphony Orchestra of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D. C.
Considering it of high educational interest, Sinfonia Foundation, with the support of the State Ministry of Culture and by Collaboration Agreement with the Albéniz Foundation of Madrid, Spain, will open the Magister Musicae Project in Santo Domingo and in Centro León in Santiago. Learn more
